How do I return an item?

Northern Brass Mouthpieces Trial and Return Policy. To obtain the best possible chance of a proper fit we recommend that you initially order at least 2 mouthpieces of the same diameter and cup size with our two different rim options because one of the two rim styles will work better for any given person. For example: Order the 3-66**** (semi rounded rim) and the 4-66**** (semi flat rim) to determine which works best for you. Purchase Only with PayPal to participate in the trial/return program.

While on trial PLEASE DO NOT PLACE MOUTHPIECES RIM DOWN on hard surfaces such as the edge of a music stand or any hard surface. Always place the mouthpieces on a cloth or a towel. Also please coat the shanks of the mouthpieces with valve oil prior to inserting them into the trumpet. This helps reduce shanks marks on the mouthpieces while play testing them.

No trials, returns, or exchanges on Northern Brass Mouthpieces purchased on eBay. Trial and returns are only available on mouthpieces purchased direct from www.callet.com

Trial Period is 3 days. Universally we have found that if a mouthpiece does not give improvements right away then it most likely never will. Buyer pays return shipping costs. Notify us immediately after 3 days if you want to return a mouthpiece(s) at admin@callet.com with your tracking number with mouthpieces shipped in a USPS small flat rate box or a sturdy box fully insured (USPS insurance is around $3.50 per mouthpiece) Carriers other than USPS is OK as long as insurance and tracking is secured. Refunds will not be made until the returned mouthpiece(s) arrives safely. If mouthpieces are lost in shipping the buyer will need to handle the insurance claims details. Mouthpieces must be returned in like new condition. If no purchase is made a 10% restocking fee will be charged. If a mouthpiece is returned with significant damages such as from being dropped on a concrete floor, bent shanks, excessive shank marks from a damaged receiver etc then additional charges will apply to cover for repair and/or restoration costs.

Exchange: During the initial 3 day trial period for example if you feel that a smaller or larger diameter size or a different cup depth might fit you better contact us at admin@callet.com. We will then attempt to provide alternate size(s) once the originals have been returned. Buyer covers shipping costs on exchanges and returns. Mouthpieces sent on exchange also have a 3 day trial period as above.



A 3 day trial period is offered on New trumpets and Flugelhorns Only in the United States. Contact admin@callet.com for return authorization. Buyer pays return shipping and shipping to try a different model.


Callet.com Custom Trumpets warrants its brass wind instruments to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from original date of purchase. Warranty is valid for the original purchaser only.


Conditions:

The warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, misuse, tampering, modifications, accidents or normal wear and tear.

Finishes are guaranteed to be applied properly, using the very finest protective materials and techniques. Discoloration or peeling caused by damage, perspiration, corrosive atmosphere and other external sources are not covered under this warranty.

Defects caused by soldering acid bleeds or failure of the finish to adhere to the instrument surface are covered during the 1-year warranty period only.

Callet.com Custom Trumpets and Kanstul Musical Instruments will be the sole judges as to the cause of damage or defects. The repair of an instrument shall constitute in full of all claims of the buyer for damages and shall operate as a release of all claims for damages of both the buyer and Callet.com Custom Trumpets/Kanstul Musical Instruments arising out of the warranty.

This warranty gives (you) specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Instructions:

Authorized repairs must be made by Callet.com Custom Trumpets in conjunction with Kanstul Musical Instruments. When necessary to return an instrument you must first contact our customer service department at admin@callet.com. Pictures and description of the possible warranty issue should be included.
Shipping and insurance charges for instruments requiring warranty services are to be paid by the owner.
